Becoming Digital Missionaries!

Some of our Armagh seminarians recently took part in an exciting and thought-provoking workshop on social media and Church ministry.
Topics covered included the opportunities and challenges of social media for Church representatives, social media as a forum for ministry, the homily and broadcast, the challenges of managing social media platforms, and the relationship between social media and journalism, including ethics and reputation.
The participants also put together various social media projects across several platforms on topics such as hashtags, the vocation to priesthood, the role of the Church in 1916, the corporal works of mercy and the World Meeting of Families in 2018.
